WHAT IS MICROBLADING?
Microblading is part of the permanent makeup category and a form of a tattoo. A specialized technique that implants pigment into the dermal layer of the skin with a sterile, manual disposable needle. Mimicking the appearance of natural hair strokes that will enhance and define your brows.

Ombre powder, Blade and Shade and Microshading is part of the permanent makeup category and a form of a tattoo. A specialized technique that implants pigment into the dermal layer of the skin using disposable needles.

Ombre Powder or Powder Brows, are normally lighter at the beginning of the brow and will gradually get darker at the tail for a penciled or pomade effect. It will look like its filled in with pencil or powder when healed.
Blade and shade will consist of mainly microblading, hair strokes all through out the brows, with light shading. Shading will depend on clients preferences and skin.
Microshading will give you the same outcome as the ombre powder but with microblading hair strokes at the front of the brows only.

HOW LONG will my permanent brows LASTS?
It’s important to know that results may vary.
These procedures are permanent, even though they will fade tremendously, the pigments will forever remain in your skin causing them to be permanent.
Microblading usually lasts for 1-1.5 years and will fade over time.
Blade and Shade will last longer than microblading, 1.5-2 years and will fade over time.
Powder Ombre and Microshading last longer due to the amount of saturation of pigments, usually 2-3 years.
A touch up is recommended when you feel like they have faded way too much and your shape is no longer defined. This will vary from person to person.
There are factors that affect the longevity of this treatment such as: exposure to the sun, lifestyle, skin type, retin A, chemical peels and certain skincare products. To help maximize the life of your cosmetic tattoo, please follow the aftercare instructions.
HOW LONG IS THE SESSION?
It can take up to 2 hours, this includes consultation, paperwork, the procedure it self and going over after care instructions.
Touch ups are 1 - 1.5 hours.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO HEAL?
The peeling and healing process varies by client, but usually 7-10 days or 1-2 weeks for ombre powder or Microshading. The complete healing processes takes between 4-6weeks, then you will see your final healed results.
DOES IT HURT? IS THERE ANY NUMBING?
I provide a topical numbing cream and gel through out the procedure, to minimize any discomfort. Pain tolerance, however, varies from client to client. There will be some sensitivity if your on your menstrual cycle, you can book after or take Tylenol.
HOW CAN I TELL IF MICROBLADING FOR ME?
If you have a substantial amount of hair, wanting something natural that will help define your brows for a no makeup, makeup look, microblading might be for you. Microblading is only recommended for clients who wants to achieve brows that are natural and blends in with existing hairs. You may still have to fill in your brows with a pencil if you are looking for something more defined. This is only to help enhance your brows and shouldn’t replace your brow products completely.
BLADE AND SHADE IS MY MOST REQUESTED TECHNIQUE. HELLO BOMBSHELL’S SIGNATURE TECHNIQUE.
If you wish to have more of a bold brow that require no penciling/filling in please look into powder ombre or microshading.
WHY DID MY BROWS seem to DISApPEAR AND OR has gotten PATCHY?
During the initial healing process, your skin will begin to PEEL. It is VERY important that you don't pick them, picking them will cause them to fade prematurely. Once the flakes have fallen off, a layer of healed skin will completely cover the hair strokes. Semi permanent pigments are being used, sometimes after the peeling process it may look like it's fading or has completely disapeared, but will slowly re-appear within 1-2 weeks, as your skin regenerates. Hair strokes or shading can be added during your first touch up appointment.
PRE-CARE
Please refrain for at least 7 days prior to your appointment: FISH OIL CAPSULES, any form of FACIAL PEELS, EXFOLIANTS, BOTOX (3 weeks), WAXING, THREADING, TWEEZING OR ANY FORM OF HAIR REMOVAL, RETINOL CREAMS OR SERUMS.
Please refrain for at least 24 hours prior to your appointment: ALCOHOL, ASPIRIN, or aspirin products such as BLOOD THINNERS, Advil, Aleeve, Bufferin, Excedrin, Motrin and Nuprin, excessively working out.
PLEASE refrain on the day of your appointment: all of the above and Caffeine.
*Arrive to your appointment with as much natural hairs possible I will shape and clean accordingly.
AFTER-CARE expectations
Please follow the detailed after care instructions and expectations sheet given to you after your appointment or email me for another copy.
For prospecting clients please expect to heal 1-2 weeks. During this time you may experience your brows going through different stages. After the initial session there may be slight redness or swelling, it will go down within 24 hours. After a couple of days your brows will become 30% darker, don’t panic, your skin is healing causing old skin and pigment to become darker (it will fade). Your brows will then become dry, itchy and flakey, it is very important to not pick at them or scratch, doing so may cause retention issues. After they have completely peeled they may seem 30% lighter than the initial session, give it a couple of weeks and your brows will come back to life! Any concerns can be fixed during your touch up appointment. Trust the process! EVERYONE HEALS DIFFERENTLY AND A TOUCH UP IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
Remember to avoid during your healing process: Water! Unless cleansing as recommended. Excessive sun exposure, including tanning beds!(WEAR A HAT FOR THE NEXT MONTH TO PROTECT YOUR BROWS) Anything pertaining to sweat, steam or brow makeup (absolutely nothing but the ointment given, goes on your new brows). After you’ve completely peeled its ok to fill them in with a little powder. No peels or chemical exfoliants for at least a month after your session.
WHAT IS THE permanent makeup PROCESS?
BOOKING: After booking and a non refundable deposit is placed a confirmation email will be sent. Please read Pre-care instructions, also stated above.
DESIGN: You can arrive with your brows filled in, but I will shape accordingly. I will evaluate and discuss expectations, goals and after care. I will map out your brows, once you confirm your satisfied with the shape we will begin with numbing in most cases.
TREATMENT: I will be numbing you through out as needed. I will then begin the procedure by implanting pigments into the skin, carefully, inside the designated outline.
AFTER CARE: We'll discuss the importance of after care and what is expected during the healing process. You’ll take home an after care kit with instructions.YOU WILL HAVE TO FOLLOW TO THE T. Any concerns you are welcomed to email or text me.
HEAL: It’s Healing time! Any concerns you may have, you contact me but trust the process! it is important to remember your brows will go through many changes, any peeling, changes in opacity uneven or loss color is temporary. Revert back to your after sheet before contacting.
TOUCH UP: The first touch up is NOT included. You should have received an email the day after your appointment with a link to rebook. Do not wait the last minute to do so, my availabilities will be limited (especially on weekends since they fill up fast) and I won’t be able to squeeze you in before your desired time frame. Book earlier to avoid a later appointment date. Given past experiences the majority of my clients have an amazing color retention and only a little touch up is needed. We like to access everyone individually as every skin heals differently. This option allows for you to pay for the services your receiving, 1 appointment at a time.
FINAL TOUCH UP APPOINTMENT: During your touch up appointment, I will access how your skin healed, pigment retention etc. Discuss expectations and follow through with the procedure. You will follow the after care regimen again. Please check back to the services page for annual prices.
